How about a rustic New Jersey wedding to kick off the week? This trendy and nostalgic couple love making memories in their home, so it was only fitting they officially blend two families together by hosting an intimate ceremony and reception right in their own backyard. With the help of CWM vendor, d’Luxe Events, their home was completely transformed with the prettiest rustic details. The two tied the knot under a floral birch arbor and celebration commenced under a white tent adorned with Edison lights, floral garlands, mixed white and greenery centerpieces, and a too pretty to eat naked wedding cake! From the bride…We knew when we got engaged that we wanted a backyard wedding in our home. We are extremely nostalgic and love making memories in our home, so it was a natural fit for us. As a blended family with three children, it was a dream come true to have our happy ending begin with such a beautiful day, affirming our love for each in front of friends and family in the house that brings us so much joy. We are drawn to everything natural and organic, so the florals and decor were steeped in different kinds of textured greenery. The florals were white and we used lush garlands, a birch wood chuppah, wood receptacles, candlelight and bistro lighting. Pictures of family, past and present, used as decor, added to the intimate nature of the small gathering. The ceremony was personal and filled with love, our guests all smiles as our two older children pulled our newest addition down the aisle in a wagon. Our guests dined on gourmet food, complete with a raw bar under a sail cloth tent and our first dance was under our very own gazebo that we spend time under as a family. The dessert bar was extravagant and included everything from a naked cake to a s’mores bar to a hot chocolate bar and desserts galore. Sparklers and a fire pit ended the evening with some fun. The day was beautiful and filled with love and we are so grateful to be sharing our day.
