At first glance, we immediately knew this was going to be a super sweet engagement session, and boy were we right! For starters, Stephanie and Jason’s style was so effortless. The bride-to-be wore a chic floral, off-the-shoulder maxi dress and her groom-to-be in a navy suit with brown shoes. Not only do they coordinate perfectly, but the pristine landscaping of the Skylands Manor with lush foliage was certainly a lovely location for Jaye Kogut Photography to capture this couple’s love story. From the bride…It was a Monday night and I was running late since I got a massage near work. I come home and Jason tells me that the air conditioner in the bedroom broke. He said he cleaned up all the water with towels and told me that the water went all the way to my dresser. I was horrified! I started walking to the bedroom and telling Jason that we should call the super. I walk in and I look at the air conditioning, it looks fine to me. There are no towels and no water under the dresser. I am looking back and forth from the air conditioning to my bed (totally confused since my bed is made) and on my comforter, Jason spelled out “will you marry me” with rose petals. On the edge was a mauve colored mug that says “you’re my person” and the ring box with the engagement ring resting in the center of the mug. I was shocked and totally surprised. It was a perfect proposal!

Jason and I love to watch the Food Network. Our favorites are Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Beat Bobby Flay and Iron Chef America. We like to research the world-class chefs competing on the shows and then go visit their restaurants.
