We sure do love winery weddings, especially when they take place at a locale where you can visit time and time again long after the wedding ends. Enter Laurita Winery! The grounds and vineyards are so picturesque for portraits and the fact that every time you attend a food truck festival or a wine tasting event, you’ll remember the memories from your wedding day. Does it get any better?! We love how this Jaye Kogut Photography couple embraced this idea. Not to mention, their wedding day details were as timeless, as they were eye-catching! Just look at those tablescapes brought to life by Ivy on Main! Continue reading their wedding story below.
From the bride…We fell in love with Laurita Winery from the first time we went there. It was rustic like we were looking for, and just felt like us. Not your typical wedding venue. We also really wanted to choose somewhere we could go back to after the wedding day.
We met in college, on the first day of freshmen year. We had mutual friends all throughout college, but it wasn’t until right before our senior year when we were both at a friend’s party over the summer that we really talked for the first time. After that night, we went on our first date and have been together ever since!
Our color scheme was dusty rose and mauve. We were going for a romantic feel at the winery!
We love to throw a good party, so we wanted to make sure we got an awesome DJ to keep everyone on the dance floor… and we did!
