From Idalia Photography…Jamie and David met while they were students at Stony Brook University and after a long engagement, they planned the most beautiful wedding! Jamie and David had an elegant wedding at one of my favorite venues, Park Chateau Estate! With touches of burgundy, mauve, and blush everywhere, the newlyweds created a truly romantic atmosphere for their fall wedding day. Since David proposed in Paris, it’s no surprise the two chose Park Chateau Estate for their big day. They felt it was radiating with Parisian architecture and they wanted to really bring that memory alive for their guests.
Jamie wore a stunning Tony Ward gown from Kleinfeld Bridal with romantic lace detailing and deep v-style back. She accessorized with drop earrings, open-toe heels, and carried a lush cascading bouquet. (P.S. Don’t you just love these getting ready bridal moments?!)
My favorite part was all the anticipation that was present throughout the day. The nervousness before the first look was so sweet, the emotional exchange of vows was heartfelt, and the excitement of sharing their first dance in front of all their guests was so genuine.
Jamie chose some gorgeous flowers for the big day. Both her and her bridesmaids’ bouquets were filled with burgundy dahlias and ranunculus, dusty pink roses and ivory garden roses, butterfly ranunculus plus jasmine vine, eucalyptus and other greenery, all brought together with delicate ribbon. They were absolutely stunning!! Not one detail was missed when they planned their big day and this wedding was everything a fall wedding at Park Chateau Estate should be.
On their wedding day, Jamie and David took full advantage of their venue by getting ready on site, sharing their first look on the grounds, tying the knot in the gardens, and celebrating in the venue ballroom.
We just love how the grand ballroom was minimally decorated with low centerpieces on the guest tables and florals on the fireplace mantel behind the sweetheart table.
