Let’s start the first week of April off with a super sweet engagement story that brings a Jersey girl and a Pennsylvania guy together. Gabrielle and Justin first met at a bar in Manayunk through mutual friends while they were attending Philadelphia University. Fast forward to January 10, 2016 to when Justin whisked Gabrielle away to St. Petersburg, Florida. Their busy day was filled with various activities including a visit to the botanical garden in Tampa, wine tasting in St. Pete Beach, a beach walk, and a romantic dinner with rooftop drinks overlooking the bay. Just before they were about to leave the rooftop lounge at midnight, Justin asked their waitress to take a picture of them by the balcony. That’s when Justin got down on one knee. As if their proposal story isn’t adorable enough, Nikki + Chip Photography is sharing their romantic engagement session complete with beautiful backdrops, amazing light and a peek of the couple’s furbaby named Buster. Not to mention, Gabrielle and Justin have some serious style. See our favorite moments below.
From Nikki + Chip Photography….It was perfectly fitting that the couple chose the University as the backdrop for the first part of their engagement session. We hit several spots on campus and we loved that they included another member of their family….their sweet dog, Buster! (Who clearly is a natural in front of the camera!)From there, we headed to the Philadelphia Art Museum where the crowd was small and the light was perfect! We even got an “ode to Rocky” image in there. “I will always be a Jersey girl, but I have to give credit to Justin,” Gabrielle said. “He is the reason I truly began to like and experience what Philadelphia had to offer, because of all the adventures we had together.”
