Do you know what we love just as much as weddings? Dogs IN weddings, of course! After all, there isn’t anything more adorable than a furbaby (dressed in a floral collar or in this case, a dapper tuxedo) to steal the show. Incorporating a black and white color palette with touches of pastel hues, Lauren and Shane set the tone for a classic, yet modern wedding at Aloft Mount Laurel. In addition to the bride’s exquisitely beaded Christina Wu gown, you’ll find a contemporary ceremony backdrop, romantic portraits, and a four-tiered wedding cake designed with beautiful rosettes and pipework in this gallery captured by Serena Star Photography. See it all below!
From Serena Star Photography…When Lauren and Shane got married, their dog Gatsby was in the couple’s words” front and center”! When they picked the Aloft, it was important to them that they could have their fur-child with them on their wedding day.
We’d love to get to know you! How did you both meet?
Online .. we met at Starbucks
Was there anything special about the proposal?
We got engaged in our new home on settlement day!
What are your favorite things to do together?
Spend time with our dog, Gatsby! We also do a lot of work on the house.
Tell us more about your wedding…What was your color scheme or inspiration behind your wedding. Did you incorporate anything unique?
Our wedding was very classic. We incorporated the colors black and white with touches of pastel/light colored pinks and purples.
