Happy Fourth of July! Before we head off to celebrate, we just had to share this Air Force engagement session at Eagle Rock Reservation. From the amazing light to the couple’s effortless style, and the love that you can feel through each and every photo, the entire engagement shoot was so perfectly captured by Olivia Christina Photography. See all the inspiration and read Meghan and Evan’s story below!
From the bride…Evan sat in front of me in middle school concert choir and had nice hair. I thought he was cute. Turns out, he thought the same! We became friends right away and were best friends before we started dating about three years later.
Tell us about your proposal story:
Meghan had suggested that we go up to Lake Tahoe while I was visiting her in Nevada for her birthday. Little did she know, she just set me up with the perfect opportunity to propose. We love hiking, so I found a hike that looked like it had great views at the top and would hopefully be pretty private. That morning, we drove up to Lake Tahoe and when I told her we were going snow shoeing on our hike, she almost backed out! Luckily, I convinced her that it would be fun. I also told her she could have her final birthday present when we got to the top, so I’m sure that helped. During the hike, I was anxious as ever, just trying to get her up to the peak of the mountain. Finally we got to the top and the views were incredible. We took our snow shoes off because we were literally on the side of a cliff and I told her to turn around and close her eyes. I was down on one knee when she turned around and she started crying before I even said anything or showed her the ring. Meghan said yes and we Facetimed our families and friends to show them the amazing views and Meghan’s new bling.
