From Charming Images…Rana and Mina’s elegant Memorial Day wedding was filled with beautiful traditions and personal touches making their day truly special. They read cards with loving messages from each other as they finished getting ready before the wedding. Their traditional Coptic wedding ceremony was a spectacular event. Rana & Mina had their crowning ceremony wearing embroidered garments, symbolizing the bride and groom as the newly adorned rulers of their household. Afterwards, Rana traded in her heels for Keds and we headed to Deep Cut Gardens for formal photos of the newly weds in the perfect May weather. The reception was held at The Venetian, the perfect venue for this majestic wedding.
Instagram played a great role for my wedding inspirations. The color palette was shades of lavender. As Coptic Orthodox Christians, the wedding ceremony takes place inside the church before the altar. We were anointed with holy oil, and crowned as king and queen.
The first look was beautiful and unforgettable. My husband’s most anticipated part of the day was the meal during the reception, but I’m sure he appreciated seeing his family from all over the world.
We personally addressed all of our wedding favors to our guests with creative names involving pieces of our friendships or inside jokes. The ceremony in the church was majestic. The first dance was like a dream.
