From Olivia Christina Photography…Michelle and Joe’s wedding can only be described as classic elegance. After dating for 11 years, the couple decided to start their next chapter together in timeless style. From Michelle’s custom Justin Alexander gown and fox fur jacket to the stunningly simple yet chic reception room at The Ryland Inn, this wedding was undeniably perfect. Even with a rainy forecast, Michelle and Joe’s spirits were high throughout the entire day. Both calm and steady, they spent the mornings with their families getting ready and first saw each other as Michelle and her father walked down the aisle of her family’s Catholic church to where Joe waited with a smile on his face. After a beautiful ceremony, the wedding party headed to The Ryland Inn, where we spent the few quiet hours before cocktail hour taking portraits of the newlyweds. The reception room offered beautiful interior backdrops of sky-high french doors, floor to ceiling windows and a roaring fireplace that made us forget all about Mother Nature’s uncooperative behavior outside. Guests entered The Ryland to find personal touches scattered throughout the venue. Individual keys served as seating cards to tables marked by one of the years in Michelle and Joe’s relationship, starting at 2005 and finishing at 2017. The happy couple and their guests kept the dance floor packed all night long and when the rain finally let up, they finished out their perfect evening with a sparkler exit and a kiss.
