Elegant European Ballet Wedding Inspiration by Morgan Taylor Artistry
When you think of a ballet inspired wedding, THIS IS CERTAINLY IT! Each and every detail conceptualized by AMV Weddings is reminiscent of European grandeur, while still incorporating sophisticated elements guests have come to love seeing at a wedding. Think romantic calligraphy, luxurious stationery, a vanity mirror that dancers typically get ready at before a performance, elegant tulle and lace, live instruments, and of course, pointe shoes are just a few of the details you’ll find in this gallery captured through the lens of Morgan Taylor Artistry. See it all below!
From Morgan Taylor Artistry…This European dream was inspired by Edward Degas Painting Blue Dancers. Our two models from the Pennsylvania ballet brought an inspirational classic and regal elegance to this editorial. Our hope was to blend the worlds of ballet and weddings while answering the question of “what would the first dance by two ballet professionals look and feel like.” Our whimsical and soft florals by Whisper and Brook flower co were the perfect tribute to the movement and swooning romance of the ballet. Our gown designed by Barbara Kovchek was both bridal and fanciful. While our inspiration was classic vintage we brought in a touch of modern-day vibrance with a seating chart blended with a photo booth station. Our final applause to degas painting was the breathtaking wedding cake created by two teaspoons. This cake was designed with an exquisite amount of texture, luster, and it embodied this editorial effortlessly.
Whisper and Brook Flower Co brought the floral vision to life incorporating roses, dahlias, and the prettiest peonies paired with delicate greenery for an elaborate, wow-worthy style.
Topping the table was a crisp white linen with lush florals in pastel hues at the center. Blue taper candles and glassware accented the blush palette, while the charger plate featured an ornate design to tie in European elegance. As for the cake? Well, it’s one of our favorites yet, which you can certainly label under too pretty to eat!
