We’re absolutely loving Makala and Ryan’s engagement session captured by Lindsay Eileen Photography. Even with a little rain, the images are oh-so-dreamy and the clear bubble umbrellas make for such adorable props! Not to mention, the couple’s wardrobe couldn’t be more perfect against the beauty of the waterfront setting. This e-session is bound to leave you feeling inspired and you can see it all below.
From Lindsay Eileen Photography…It’s not every day that Nathan and I get to travel to the gorgeous city of Annapolis, so we were really excited when Makala and her fiancé Ryan chose to hold their engagement session among the docks and beautiful waterfront areas that Annapolis is known for. These two met via mutual friends, and although their first initial meeting wasn’t a huge success, Ryan left convinced that he wanted to see this beautiful girl again. Soon, it became clear that they were simply meant to be together. Ryan’s charm and love for her won Makala’s heart, and when he proposed at the beach on a trip, she was very excited to say yes! For their engagement session, we wanted to take advantage of all the beautiful scenery that Annapolis has to offer, so we began our shoot at the waterfront area near the Annapolis Yacht Club. Even the rain couldn’t stop all of the fun these two were having! They were fully committed to making this a session we’d remember fondly for a long time! Since Ryan is a student (and future Marine) at the Naval Academy, we were able to shoot some really fun portraits on the Academy grounds as well. The rocks lining the water made for some really dreamy portraits as did the few flowering trees still blooming. We ended our day along the shores of Matapeake Beach, where the gently rolling waves got all of us a little wet. This was also a great spot to get some clips for their engagement session highlight video. These two are absolutely perfect for each other, and we can’t wait to shoot their outdoor wedding this August.
