There’s nothing quite like when photographers capture the most dreamy wedding imagery. Did you already get goosebumps from swooning over that first image? Good. Because we did, too! Everything about this wedding brought to us from Nikki + Chip Photography comes with details upon details upon details and we just can’t get enough of the rustic romance. From the sentimental private residence, which also happens to be where Jeremy proposed to Gabriella less than a year prior to the flower covered ceremony arbor, the bride’s boho lace Maggie Sottero gown and florals lining the long tables under the tented reception, let’s just say you’ll be spending the afternoon gazing over these gorgeous images. See how Gabriella and Jeremy’s ideas came to life below and then be sure to press play on the highlight film from Lucid Lens that brings the entire day full circle.
From Nikki + Chip Photography…It was here, on the property of Gabriella’s grandparents, that the love of her life, Jeremy, proposed. Less than a year later, the couple’s family and friends joined them there for a romantic, intimate, backyard wedding. “We were surrounded by nature’s beauty the entire day,” said Gabriella. Every element was well thought out: the blush-and-gold hued color palate, the flower-covered ceremony arbor, framed signs, the wooden walkway to the reception tent that was hand-built by Gabriella’s father, and the green glass bottle vases used for centerpieces that provided a pop of color against the neutral tablecloths. In lieu of traditional favors, the couple donated money to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to honor Gabriella’s grandfather who passed away from Parkinson’s disease. After their cake cutting, sky lanterns were released by Gabriella, Jeremy and their guests until they floated out of sight. Then, the couple ended the night with a bang—sharing kisses underneath bursts of fireworks. Gabriella’s advice for other brides? “Don’t be afraid to step outside the box and have your wedding day reflect who you are.”
