Interfaith City Wedding in Massachusetts by Jess Sinatra Photography
We’ve always been fans of traditional weddings, especially when couple combines each of their faiths. The intimate church celebration and beautiful portraits of the newlyweds in Massachusetts are just the icing on cake. See all the heartfelt moments captured through the lens of Jess Sinatra Photography.
From Jess Sinatra Photography…Libby and Noah are yet another couple whose wedding plans were disrupted by Covid. Now, they didn’t let it get them down! Secretly Libby had always wanted a backyard wedding at her parents house so everything here worked out perfectly!
Libby and Noah combined their faiths in a truly unique ceremony. Libby grew up in the Catholic church and Noah is Jewish. Their ceremony combined both of their faiths in a way I have never seen before. While held in a Catholic church, they were married by Libby’s pastor and by Noah’s Rabbi, they did a traditional Jewish circle dance, the Sheva B’rachot: Seven Blessings, and the breaking of the glass, in addition to several Catholic customs such as, lighting the unity candle, Mass, readings by family and friends, Homily and finally their kiss as husband and wife! This mini wedding was exactly what it should be! A day filled with love, acceptance, and coming together.
After their ceremony we headed over to the Reflecting Pool at the Christian Science Plaza for their wedding party and formal photos. This set the stage for some creative shots while adhering to social distancing and keeping the feel of the city in their photos.
