For ALL Couples Getting Married

Two reasons to fall in love with this New Jersey wedding captured through the lens of Federico Photography. For starters, it takes place in a picturesque, waterfront setting and of course we have to mention the couple’s effortless style. The bride looked stunning in her sleek wedding gown designed by Pronovias, while the groom stood by her side in a classic black tuxedo with bowtie. And then, there’s the quaint chapel they tied the knot in and white florals by MDS Floral Design that brought the ballroom to life. Just see all the pretty images from this wedding gallery below.

From Federico Photography…Joanna and Shayne’s wedding at Bonnet Island Estate was breathtaking, from the perfect weather, cloudless blue skies during their first look on the dock, to their ceremony in a beautiful white washed chapel on the bay.  Joanna was a stunning bride and you could feel how in awe of her Shayne was all day. Their love is truly genuine and uncontrived, they are so candid and carefree with each other and it shows. There wasn’t a single aspect of their day that didn’t photograph beautifully and we are thrilled they chose us to photograph their big day for them.

We fell in love with our venue because it was on the water and had a nautical theme we were trying to showcase.  We loved the decor throughout the estate, from the ships mounted on the wall, to the wood work in both the reception ballroom and the ceremony space. We loved the reclaimed wood in particular in the ceremony space.

For our chuppa and flowers throughout the reception, we wanted to focus on wood branches and bright white flowers.  We had pinpoint lighting on our centerpieces to add to the sultry look of the ballroom. My bouquet was most special to me since it is the bouquet my sister used for her wedding two years earlier.

I fell in love with my dress.  I originally wanted a very detailed dress, but as I tried on this style, it didn’t feel right.  Then the stylist brought my dress, a very plain dress with delicate buttons in the back and I knew it was the one.  It was the 5th dress I tried on. Shayne wore a black tux for the ceremony and then changed to a white blazer for the reception.
