If we had to describe Alexis and Christopher’s wedding in two words, it would easily be classic and elegant. The two were inspired by the ballroom setting of The Crystal Ballroom and decided to use a color scheme of lilac and gray throughout their details. And just wait until you see the bride’s beautiful ballgown with it’s full ruffled skirt and sparkly purple Badgley Mischka shoes! From the bride…We met in college 10 years ago. However, when our best friends got married four years ago, we walked down the aisle together at their wedding. That was when we really got to know each other. I thought Chris was very easy to talk to and a real gentleman.
When it came time to choose a location for their summer wedding, Alexis and Christopher loved the Crystal Ballroom for its classic ballroom style and the ability to have an outdoor cocktail hour.
Alexis’ five bridesmaids donned one-shoulder, floor-length, sterling-colored dresses by Vera Wang. They carried a mix of lilac, purple, and ivory bouquets.
Dinner tables were topped with ivory linens, faux centerpieces provided by the Crystal Ballroom, lilac napkins, votive candles, and a menu card displayed in a crystal-embellished frame.
