A Virtual Wedding during COVID Quarantine by Limelight Entertainment – Contemporary Weddings Magazine
For ALL Couples Getting Married

Weddings sure do look a lot different these days, but just because there are state mandates in place, it doesn’t mean you still can’t have an incredible day. This virtual wedding captured through the lens of Limelight Entertainment proves exactly that! Nikki and Michael exchanged vows at home with their closest family and friends watching on via Zoom. They even had their dog a part of their day, as well as a first look, beautiful portraits, cake cutting, and even some DIY details! Take a peek and continue reading this couple’s wedding story below.

From Limelight Entertainment…Nikki and Michael tied the knot and celebrated their love in quarantine on June 1st in their home. It was a gorgeous day; the sun shining down gave such a happy warm feeling to the air. They decorated the space with their own DIY’s and created a beautiful atmosphere to say I Do. Nikki and Michael got engaged right at the start of our COVID quarantine, so that kind of put wedding planning on hold. But when the governor announced virtual weddings would be allowed starting June 1st, they quickly started planning! June 1st is Nikki and Michael’s dating anniversary and they loved the thought of keeping that date as their only anniversary forever. Our favorite part of course was the first look. Nikki and Michael shared this special moment on their front porch. When Michael turned around to see Nikki for the first time in her dress, my heart melted! He smiled from ear to ear looking at her. We are so happy they shared this special moment together. WE LOVE FIRST LOOKS!

“We never wanted a traditional wedding so when the governor allowed virtual weddings during the pandemic, we knew this was the way to go! (how cool is it, we’re living through history?!) We wanted a relaxed, easy, fun day and it was perfect!!”

They got married in their foyer, which was decorated with eucalyptus, white lilies, baby’s breath, and candles. The majority of their decoration for their wedding was DIY. They got most of their supplies and other decorations from their local Hobby Lobby. From flowers to vines, to glass to wood, their wedding space looked breathtakingly beautiful. Their cake from Osteria in Malboro, NJ looked absolutely yummy! It had cannoli’s right on top!! Nikki did her own hair and makeup. She went with a natural look that highlighted her beautiful features. Nikki kept her hair down over her shoulder with a cute diamond barret pin on one side. Her Lulu’s Bridal dress fit her perfectly; this dress was made for her. She looked absolutely stunning!!! Michael went with a black, white, and gray suit set. He looked amazing! With the detail of baby’s breath as his boutonniere his look was complete with a black bowtie.

Of course, we had to bring their little furbaby, Calvin, in a couple of their pre-ceremony portraits. He looked like a little stunner in his mini suit! SUPER CUTE!!! After a bunch of photos with Calvin it was time for the ceremony. The ceremony was very sweet, with their closest friends and family on Zoom they married right in their foyer! After their first kiss they had their first dance, and it was the sweetest moment. They then cut their cake and waved good bye to all of their guests. It was a gorgeous day, so we took a walk after the ceremony. We found some lovely greenery down the street and capture some “just married” portraits of the two of them glowing in happiness!!
