Have you ever seen a more beautiful bride on her wedding day? We are absolutely captivated by Jessica’s effortless wedding day look. She donned a minimalist Essense of Australia gown with a sweetheart neckline, spaghetti straps, and ruched bodice. A cathedral-length veil and blush toned bouquet complemented her timeless style, while her groom sported a striking navy ensemble with blush tie. There’s so much classic inspiration throughout this gallery and our friends at Limelight Entertainment are sharing all the details behind this couple’s wedding at The Sunset Ballroom below. Take a peek!
From Limelight Entertainment…Jessica and John got married at The Sunset Ballroom at Jack Baker’s Lobster Shanty. This gorgeous high ceiling venue overlooks the Manasquan River through the large windows peering over the water. What a beautiful day for a wedding – the sun was shinning, the birds were chirping, people enjoying the water – it was perfect! Arriving at prep, Jessica greeted us with warm smiles and happy hugs. She was glowing, the day finally arrived for her to say “I do” to her best friend. Her girls were chatting and giggling, taking selfies and picking at yummy snacks. Madison, John’s niece was their junior bridesmaid, and believe it or not it was her birthday! The gorgeous girl wore the cutest BIRTHDAY GIRL headband as she chitchatted among the rest of the group. How fun is that! She gets to celebrate her birthday, same day her uncle marries the love of his life – double the fun, double the party!!! Happy Birthday Madison!!! The girls chose to do different hairstyles that really complimented their looks. Family friend, Cassie Prendergast did a wonderful job with styling the girls gorgeous locks. Jessica chose to keep her hair down over her shoulders with big curls at the ends. She looked so pretty!! The six bridesmaids wore blush pink satin matching getting ready robes, Jessica had on a white satin robe, and the moms had on navy robes. After a couple of playful pictures in their matching robes, the girls continued to get ready with their hair and makeup. Makeup by Yoscary did a phenomenal job at highlighting the girls features and creating such a natural glow. The details at Jessica and John’s wedding were so elegant and beautiful. The flowers were absolutely stunning, Purple Iris in Point Pleasant designed such beautiful pieces for the girls, guys, and decoration throughout the wedding day. Her wedding dress from Essence of Australia was so gorgeous, from the heart shape top to the hidden pockets… (you read that right – pockets!…) the dress just looked absolutely beautiful on her. Jessica kept her jewelry very simple and elegant. She wore earrings, a pearl bracelet, and her grandmothers ring as her something borrowed. Clipping a tiny blue pearl angel to her bouquet, Jessica was almost ready to head to first look…. all her gushed as her veil was placed in her hair, and in that moment she was ready to see John for the first time that day.John got ready with his seven groomsmen, all wearing navy Men’s Warehouse tuxedos and looking snazzy. He was excited to see Jessica and couldn’t wait to marry her. He complemented his navy tuxedo with blush pink accessories, including a tie and fun aztec navy and blush socks. To finish up his look he put on brown suede dress shoes.
After a couple of shots of him and the guys at the house, we headed to first look… my favorite! First look was important to Jessica and John, because they wanted that special moment to share just the two of them. First look took place on a pier right outside Jessica’s getting ready location. 1, 2, 3… John turned around and embraced Jessica. He was speechless!! After a moment, we took the love birds over to some tall grass and captured a couple minutes of stunning portraits of the two.
Their ceremony was personal and beautiful, in The Sunset Ballroom at Jack Baker’s Lobster Shanty officiated by Jessica’s father Joe. Joking throughout the ceremony, it felt very personal and filled with so much warmth. Cheering, clapping, and happy tears filled the space as Jessica and John walked arm-in-arm now as husband and wife down the aisle. SO CUTE!!!
Time to celebrate!! Posh DJ did a fantastic job amping the crowd and getting everyone moving and grooving. All their guests had a great time celebrating. Jessica and John even had a tiny cake be brought out for Madison to blow out some birthday candles and make a wish for her birthday! WE LOVE THAT!
