For ALL Couples Getting Married

South Carolina weddings never looked so good. Case in point? This gallery brought to us today by Mary Catherine Echols Photography. As you browse through the images, we never would have guessed this couple’s special day actually took place in the groom’s parent’s backyard. They did such an amazing job creating a wedding space under a tent dressed to the nines incorporating draping, chandeliers, and a modern white dance floor! We also particularly love the high-top cocktail tables that flanked the in-ground pool with the most ambient suspended lighting amongst the backyard landscaping. Not to mention, there are details upon details upon details that will without-a-doubt inspire you. Take a peek below!

From the bride…To tell you our story depends on which one of us you ask. If you ask me I’d tell you I met Capp post-graduation. I moved to Greenville and on the day I moved in, this random dude at Publix waves at me. I told my mom how odd I thought that was and moved on, at least that’s what I thought. For some reason shortly after that, this mysterious guy who I had never met and had very few mutual friends with kept coming to my mind. I had no idea why but of course a few days later we ran into each other. The conversation started by me asking him about his shoes which I quickly figured out was a fast way to his heart. We started spending most of our time together and I learned pretty early on that Capp was who I was going to marry.

Every Sunday we go to lunch after church and this Sunday he told me we were going to Cantina. Once we got downtown he started making a lot of wrong turns which of course made me suspicious. He was so calm and collected all morning there was no way that Sunday was that day he would ask. He took me to our venue and got down on one knee. Everything after that is honestly a blur until he took me to all our friends and family waiting to celebrate. Needless to say, even though it took a couple years and a few tries, it was the easiest yes I’ve ever said.”

Capp and Sarah Bradley got married at Capp’s parents beautiful home in Greenville, SC for a backyard wedding since COVID had put restrictions on their original venue. Their first look was in his mom’s garden where they read letters to each other, and after the ceremony they changed into their trendy shoes to dance their night away with their friends. This was such a fun day!
