From Morgan Dove Photography…For years, even before becoming a photographer, I’ve swooned over Styled Shoots by Styled Shoots of America. So of course when I learned there would be a shoot just an hour away, I knew I had to go! Planned and designed by Alexi Events, the shoot was held on the most beautiful day in Laguna Beach, with that California sunshine showing off! Inspired by succulents and the California coast, the soft, spring-hued color palette for this shoot was a gorgeous seafoam green, sunshine yellow and sky blue!

In order to get the most dreamy ocean views, Occasions at Laguna Village, provided their patio! White walls, white floors, and the open air allowed every detail of this shoot to stand out in a way that otherwise wouldn’t be possible. In true SSAA fashion, the florals, provided by Sprig & Spring were incredible. They were the perfect combination of over-the-top but classy, with just the right amount of whimsical. The custom beachwood arbor for the ceremony, was just icing on the succulent topped cake!

The organic, seaside themed tableware and decor (La Pinata Party) and invitation suite (Invitation Maven) allowed the shoot a noticeable Beachy theme, without being “theme-y,” and the gold and acryllic frames (H&L Lovely Creations), as well as the other gold decor throughout the reception area, added a little luxury to an otherwise casual motif.

Delicious food, a beautiful cake, and signature cocktails all added to the uniqueness of the event! However, the real show-stealer was two-month old Xander, the most loveable Golden Retriever pup!

It was a beautiful event, and a really fun day! Lexi showed in the most amazing way, that a beachy/coastal wedding doesn’t have to be boho-casual, but can in fact be filled with classic elegance and soft beauty.
