A CHARMING AND MODERN CHATEAU WEDDING AT PARK CHATEAU BY COURTNEY SIMPSON PHOTOGRAPHY
We were completely captivated by these wedding images when they landed in our inbox from Courtney Simpson Photography. The details are so perfectly curated it’s hard to believe these photos weren’t from a styled shoot! The bride had a unique whimsy vision with a modern twist, which was brought to life with the help of Magnolia Event Design and florals designed by Magnolia Floral Designs. From Courtney Simpson Photography…Nicole & Michal have been together since college. Michal proposed to Nicole at the college where they met. They have been planning their whimsical modern twist wedding for years now and have had to reschedule multiple times due to covid restrictions. Finally on August 21st, 2021 they were able to celebrate their dream wedding with their friends and family. Nicole planned and designed her entire wedding from start to finish and she chose a whimsical airy feel but with a twist of modern floral arrangements and rentals. Their wedding included a gorgeous chapel ceremony along with a champagne welcome cart for their guests, custom signage, a doughnut wall, a gold circle arch with adorable cardboard cut outs of their beloved bulldog Maddie, and a custom signature white dance floor with their initials and gold and white checkered border.
Blue velvet chairs flanked each side of the aisle in the chapel to incorporate the couple’s color scheme, which also paired beautifully with the white ceremony flowers.
Formal photos were taken throughout the grounds of the Park Chateau. The bride chose a stunning Pnina Tornai gown from Kleinfeld Bridal and accessorized with a cathedral-length veil and headpiece from Bridal Styles Boutique. The groom and groomsmen sported traditional black attire with white shirts, while the bridesmaids wore fashion-forward jackets and pants in lieu of traditional gowns. The couple’s furbaby –dressed to the nines in a pale blue tutu–even made an appearance!
Guests were welcomed into the venue with a suspended frosted acrylic welcome sign and then found their tables through a modern seating chart.
Tablescapes made a statement inside the Park Chateau Estate & Gardens ballroom with three variated designed centerpieces set on white linens. We particularly love the long tables with suspended arrangements and taper candles, also accented with the same blue velvet chairs used during the ceremony. Reception decor also included a mini lounge with a neon sign, a custom dance floor with the couple’s monogram, and a sweetheart table dripping in florals and a “It was always you” neon sign that hung on the fireplace mantel.
