A BOHO SEPTEMBER WEDDING AT EXLEY FARMS BY KAILA AND COMPANY
The September wedding at Exley Farms was all about boho elegance, set amidst the romantic charm of the fall season. The earthy color palette–featuring terracotta–imbued the occasion with the warm, golden hues of autumn. The natural wood accents of the ceremony arbor, benches, and barn created an inviting and cozy ambiance. The bridesmaids, in their mismatched dresses donning various shades of earthy tones, added a delightful touch of whimsy and individuality, while the groom’s burnt orange suit harmonized perfectly with the bride’s bouquet, forming a stunning contrast with the fall foliage. Their outdoor ceremony beneath the towering trees was a captivating and natural setting for their vows. Unconventional and fun, the couple opted for a taco truck from Dos Hermanos Tacos and a beer girl instead of a traditional flower girl, further exemplifying their unique and memorable celebration. From Kaila and Company…Amy and Jeff met on campus while studying at Rowan University. She turned him down a few times before finally taking the plunge that would eventually lead to their happily ever after. Their wedding made several nods to their love of baseball, including the grooms ring with “Game 7” engraved on the inside. The couple started dating in 2016 when the Cubs went to game 7 of the world series.
They had their first look on the Rowan campus where they first met and fell in love. The wedding party supported fall jewel tones, while the groom’s suit tied in a burnt orange that popped off of the marble of the building. Their flowers presented a slew of wildflowers that matched their rustic venue.
They got married under the shade of a beautiful tree with a cool fall breeze. During their ceremony, Amy’s brother woo-ed the guests and sang the couple’s first dance song acoustically, bringing everyone to tears.
Exley Farms created the perfect low-key spot for food trucks, a “beer-girl” instead of a flower girl, and a bonfire to end the evening.
