A BOHO BACKYARD WEDDING BY LINDSAY EILEEN PHOTOGRAPHY
This wedding hits all the marks for a boho backyard wedding! The property alone is pretty incredible with expansive fields offering a blank slate to turn the location into a magical wedding day. At first glance, you’d even think it was a full-time venue. The estate was transformed into the couple’s dream wedding planned with the help of the bride’s sister, but brought to life by their vendor team. From the outdoor ceremony with rustic touches to the reception held under a tent, straight to the sparkler exit, there are so many details we can’t get enough of. Plus, you just have to see the groom’s reaction as his bride walked down the aisle. It’s too sweet to miss. See our favorite moments below captured through the lens of Lindsay Eileen Photography.
From Lindsay Eileen Photography Photography…Fairytale perfect is certainly a term I would use to describe Kimberly & Andrew’s gorgeous wedding day in New Jersey! Originally scheduled for a venue in the Poconos, Kimberly & Andrew decided to move it to family property and DIY their day with help from some talented vendors and a lot of love from their families!
Andrew flies for the state police, so at the end of their ceremony, a police helicopter flew over, making for a truly fun (and hard to capture!) photo. We knew the helicopter was coming but had no way of knowing exactly when it would arrive or WHERE it would fly. No one has ever hit the ground camera in hand faster than we did that day I think!
Kim is a twin, and her sister Kayla played a big role in not just helping with the wedding, but getting the bride into her gown for the day! We loved the neutral color scheme chosen for the day, and it’s one we’d love to see more often! Kim had consulted me in regards to picking the perfect ceremony location, so her ceremony photos are truly something from the prettiest of Pinterest boards!
Electricity to the tent was provided by the caterer’s generator, and when the power went out mid reception, we gathered candles to light up the tables while the local fire station got one of their trucks in position to power the reception until more gas could be obtained for the generator. A picture-perfect sparkler sendoff was the ending to a truly PERFECT wedding day! Kim & Andrew, it was an honor to celebrate with you! We wish you the sweetest of happily ever afters!
