AN EAST COAST SUMMER ROOFTOP WEDDING AT WAVE RESORT BY COURTNEY SIMPSON PHOTOGRAPHY
This summer wedding captured through the lens of Courtney Simpson Photography at Wave Resort just screams love and Valentine’s Day! One look and we totally think you’ll agree. The couple incorporated a bright color palette, cheerful details, and the happiness radiating from their faces just shows they were truly in the moment. From Caitlin and Gabe…We met in a frat house bathroom (super romantic) and just started chit chatting while my sorority was downstairs for an event. I saw his picture on the fraternity composite and added him on facebook and messaged him “hey from downstairs”. We started hanging out and spent everyday until Gabe graduated together. This usually involved sitting outside and talking about anything/everything until about 2am. We tried to convince ourselves (and everyone else) that we were just friends and this was gonna end when Gabe graduated, but graduation came and we couldn’t say goodbye. It was tons of 4 hour drives/train rides every weekend to see each other. We did long distance for 2 years and eventually moved in together.
How adorable is this first look moment overlooking the Atlantic?
Caitlin’s four bridesmaids doned floor-length dresses in a pale pink hue, while Gabe’s groomsmen sported black attire with white shirts and classic bow ties. (Pro tip- bring along props like heart-shaped sunglasses for a few light-hearted portraits!)
Guests were escorted to their tables with the help of seating assignments displayed on a gold framed mirror decorated in florals. Each table in the ballroom was decorated in white linens with tall gold pedestal floral arrangements.
