Sarah and Luciano’s relationship dates as far back as middle school when they first met by the gym. They instantly became friends, but it wasn’t until their mid 20s when they formed a romantic connection and began dating. The two fell in love and have been together ever since 2012! Luciano initially proposed at Taka , one of her favorite restaurants in Asbury Park. “He told me we were making up for my birthday since my original plans were canceled. When dessert arrived, I was expecting a candle to blow out and make a wish but instead I received my dessert and on the plate it said Will you marry me?” But due to a crowded restaurant, Luciano could not get down on one knee, so he waited until their engagement session and proposed to Sarah for second time. From First Look Farm and Photography…Sarah & Luciano were looking for the perfect location for their engagement photos and since they both are originally from New York we decided Liberty State Park would be perfect! Luciano explained to me that the day he proposed to Sarah it did not go according to plan and the crowded restaurant and tight booth didn’t allow him to actually drop to one knee which is something he’s regretted ever since. That’s when he decided he would bring the ring box along and surprise Sarah by officially dropping to one knee during the engagement session. Sarah’s emotion and pure joy was such an amazing moment for me to capture and I’m so glad they will have that memory to add to their proposal story! Sarah & Luciano are still looking for the perfect venue to host their special day but said they are enjoying taking their time to make sure everything is exactly the way they envision their wedding day to be.
