From Heyn Photography…There are some sessions that can only be described as magical, where all the elements come together to create something spectacular. Amy and Chris’s engagement session was one of these. The late fall afternoon light gave off an ethereal golden glow. Amy and Chris are both beautiful people inside and out, and their chemistry and love for one another was evident in every shot. To say that we are obsessed with these photos is an understatement. We can’t wait for their wedding day!
Growing up, I always knew who Chris was. He was my best friend, Marissa’s older cousin. It wasn’t until the summer of 2016, when I went to my friend Marissa’s house for a Fourth of July party we both realized something was there between us. A few months later we started dating and the rest was history!
Chris and I have a house in Beach Haven West, New Jersey and it’s by far our favorite place to be! On September 23rd, we took the boat out for a ride and docked up at Parkers Garage in LBI. After an amazing dinner, we went down to the water to get a sunset picture. Chris asked a bystander to take a picture of us and that’s when he got down on one knee and proposed. It was a perfect sunset proposal. After he proposed, we enjoyed some champagne and Facetimed all of our loved ones to share the news. It was a perfect night we will never forget!
